Just been looking at meguiers 1,2 and step 3 polishes, probably been asked before, but doesn't really mention how good it is on the laquer/ clearcoat as i can see a couple of areas on mine where someone has tried to polish out a scratch mark and has made it look a bit blemished if you see what i mean, do you reckon the 3 step system would help on this guys?

Essentially Giving You More Shine, In Less Time.

This sounds easier than the meguiars 3 step system i'm currently using. You could add a layer of ag egp between the srp and 2x cotas of collinite. I like meguiar's products, and i've seen the three step system for a while, but never bought it.

It will remove minor oxidation and swirls, but it is very mild. I hope these say it all. In step 2, mothers is a glaze and sealer while meguiars is a polish last for both is the wax.
